いよいよ2018年度第1回の英検が近づいてきました。

 

今回は5級～1級まですべての級に受講生が挑戦します。3級以上はライティング勝負の受講生が多いです。自然な英語表現で相手に伝わるように書くように練習していきましょう！

 

さて、1級＆準1級対策として以下のトピックで解答例を講師が書いてみましたので、準1級または1級を受験される方はご参考ください。どちかかということ1級のテーマに近いです。

Sexism is a difficult issue to deal with because women have been discriminated against both in employment and education. However, with women receiving higher education and getting jobs, women are now becoming able to pursue their goals. Therefore, I think sexism has been partially eliminated in modern society.

 

First, the Japanese government is now taking strong measures to promote female employment. The world is globalized and expecting female leaders to play major roles in various areas such as politics and business. This is true of regular female workers, some of whom can pursue their careers while raising children. In this case, their husbands are in charge of housework, and actually some companies provide paternity leave for male workers. This means traditional values have changed to some degree and new perspectives arise. 

 

Second, in respect of education, women are given equal opportunities for academics and athletics. Especially, female athletes are focus of attention and some of them are very successful in some sports. Even in male-dominant fields such as F1, some teams have female drivers although they have not yet succeeded greatly in this sport. I think more and more women will show their presence in a variety of fields.

 

In conclusion, women are now encouraged to play important roles in a wide variety of areas and they will have more chances to use their capacity to the fullest. Female workforce will definitely contribute to society combined with less gender discrimination. I hope sexism will be reduced and eventually come to an end in the future society. (256)
